High School a cappella groups of any size may compete for these awards

• 1st Place
• 2nd Place
• 3rd Place
• Best Arrangement
• Best Original Song
• Best Soloist, Male and Female
• Best Vocal Percussion

Each winner gets a trophy and the group winning 1st place gets to open at the SingStrong Main Event Concert!

How To Enter

Send an mp3 or link to a youtube video and a short description of your group to Jonathan Minkoff. (This link should open an email to jonathan<ATTT>singstrong.org. If this fails to open properly on your computer, please enter the address manually to your email with the symbol " @ " placed where the text <ATT> is currently.)

If you do not have a recording, simply email a description of your group. If space permits, you will be allowed to compete.  The complete rules for this competition can be found here.

The application process has three simple phases:

1. Invite.This is when you tell us you are interested in competing, OR we invite you to consider applying. You then send in materials for us to evaluate you.
2. Acceptance. This is when we inform you that your group has been accepted, but that your spot is not definite until you purchase your passes. Please be aware that due to the fact that not all accepted groups complete the process each year, we must accept a greater number of groups than we can accommodate. This means that once your group has been accepted, it is in your best interest to immediately purchase your passes. Once groups are accepted, the first to purchase and email us get confirmation until we are full. After we are full, groups will be added to the alternate list. Groups on the alternate list will be allowed to perform in the event a confirmed competitor is unable to perform.
3. Confirmation. This is when groups purchase their passes and then email Jonathan Minkoff to let us know that all group members have their passes. If space is still available we will immediately respond and confirm your spot in our competition as a definite. Congratulations!
