They performed all over the DC area, New York, the Grand Bahamas, and shared a billing at a gala event in Los Angeles with Paul McCartney and the B-52’s. In college, Charlie joined and directed the co-ed group, The Variations, at Vanderbilt University, while studying classical vocal performance at the Blair School of Music. Later, at Wake Forest University, he joined and directed the all-male group, Temporary Reprieve, who performed all over the southeast region, in addition to tours to St. Louis and Chicago.
