Juxtaposition is a student-run organization based at Virginia Tech. Formed in 1994 by Mark Cirnigliaro, Juxtaposition is the longest running a cappella group at Virginia Tech. Since the group's creation, the members of Juxta have perfomed around VT's campus as well as across international lines. Juxtaposition has been nominated for the Contemporary A Cappella Record Awards (CARAs), included on the Best of College A Cappella (BOCA) compilations twice, advanced to the International Championship of Collegiate Finals in 2004, and invited to perform at many prestigious events, including the White House. |
