The (non-politically affiliated) Red States were formed in September of 2007 as part of the Contemporary A cappella Society of America's League of semi-professional groups (See the The New York Times article).

This 14-strong group is dedicated to its repertoire of rock, dirty pop and R&B hits. They perform all over New York City and beyond. This year they were selected for inclusion on the SING compilation.

The Red States are eager to bring their edgy, modern approach to a time-tested tradition of music to as many ears as possible. For info and sound samples.
